Brian J. Ward

Brian J. Ward

Brian J. Ward joined Ardalan & Associates as an associate attorney in 2006. With him, he brought a level of trial experience rarely seen in a new associate. His attention to detail and compassion for his clients has given him a reputation as more than just an attorney but also as a counselor, helping guide clients through the often difficult process of litigation. Ward currently handles all aspects of family law, criminal law, personal injury and civil litigation

During his tenure at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, Ward stood out as one of the most successful student trial advocates in the nation. As a member of the nationally renowned Byrne Trial Advocacy Team at Loyola, Ward turned in an impressive string of victories including winning both the regional and national levels of the 2005 National Trial Competition, which is sponsored by the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the most prestigious organizations in the country. The victory at the National Trial Competition represented the first such victory for any Southern California law school during the competition’s 30 year history and earned Ward a commendation from the Los Angeles City Council for excellence in the field of Trial Advocacy.

Ward continued his success in 2006 when he was named ‘Best Advocate’ at the Tournament of Champions competition sponsored by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, and repeating as regional champion in the 2006 National Trial Competition. Ward’s success also earned him individual honors at his graduation ceremony. He received the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Excellency in Advocacy Award as well as an award from CourtCall© for outstanding leadership in the field of Trial Advocacy.

Ward joined Ardalan & Associates for one reason, to help his clients find the justice they deserve. "Too often, people feel helpless or overwhelmed once they become involved in litigation. It’s my goal to remove the intimidation from the process and to make sure that our clients know that we are constantly fighting to find them the best result." Ward’s compassionate approach has earned him the trust of his clients and the respect of his peers.

While volunteering for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office in the Spring of 2006, Ward was commended for his consummate professionalism and his commitment not just to winning, but to doing what is right.

For Ward, the thrill of this job is in the difference he can make everyday in his clients’ lives.
