She brought with her a level of civility and commanding advocacy that has earned her a reputation as a strong advocate on behalf of her clients. Ms. Banihashemi is often praised for offering fair and reasoned advice and counsel to clients. She prides herself on conflict resolution. Litigation takes a tremendous toll on clients, and Ms. Banihashemi believes that a major part of assisting clients is to balance battles with its toll on the psychological and financial well-being of clients.Having become an attorney to help those in need, Ms. Banihashemi believes that the practice of law is more than filing papers and arguing in court, it is nurturing clients that are in dire situations and stabilizing them.

Ms. Banihashemi received her B.S. Degree in Biological Sciences from University of California, Irvine, where she made the Dean’s Honor List, was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, and an Honoree at the Undergraduate Research Symposium.

Ms. Banihashemi's experience in the legal field predated her becoming an attorney. Even while she was working full time in the legal field, Ms. Banihashemi managed to attend law school. In 2001, while working full time at Quinn Emanuel, she entered Southwestern University School of Law as an evening student. During her time at Southwestern, Ms. Banihashemi was chosen as an Advocate for her law school's trial advocacy team, enabling her to gain valuable trial skills to be utilized in her future as a trial lawyer. Ms. Banihashemi's superior trial skills became apparent when she was awarded top honors at the Stanford Mock Trial competition in 2005.

Ms. Banihashemi handles all aspects of family law, criminal law, personal injury and civil litigation. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and she is admitted to practice law through the State Bar of California.
