Rachel T. Gezerseh is a trial lawyer and partner at Ardalan & Associates, representing individuals and families in catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and complex product liability litigation. Her practice is defined by a trial-focused approach and a deep commitment to telling her clients’ stories with clarity, strategy, and purpose.
Rachel brings extensive experience handling high-stakes litigation involving serious injuries, complex liability issues, and coordinated proceedings. Prior to joining Ardalan & Associates, she spent more than five years at one of the nation’s premier plaintiff trial firms, where she played a key role in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, national product liability litigation, and large-scale mass tort matters. Her work included involvement in nationwide social media and JUUL product cases as well as litigation arising from the Southern California Fire Cases following the 2017 Thomas Fire and Montecito debris flows.
Before transitioning to plaintiff-side trial work, Rachel practiced at the international law firm Jones Day, where she defended large-scale product liability and aviation disaster cases. That background provides her with a unique strategic perspective, allowing her to anticipate defense themes and build cases designed for trial from the outset.
In addition to her litigation practice, Rachel is deeply involved in legal education and professional leadership. She serves as a Lecturer in Law at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and currently serves as President of the Southwestern Law School Alumni Association. She has been recognized among The Best Lawyers in America® (2025) and has been named to the Southern California Super Lawyers list since 2020, following earlier recognition as a Rising Star.
Rachel is admitted to practice in California and Nevada. She earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, where she served as an Associate Editor of the Southwestern Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Honors Program. Prior to law school, she worked as a documentary filmmaker and received her B.A. in Film and Television from the University of California, Los Angeles.
